Recently, Jalen Milroe, Alabama’s quarterback opened up on the relationship he shares with Miss Terry aka the “Mama of the team”.

Terry Saban is Nick Saban‘s wife and a strong pillar of the Alabama Crimson Tide. She’s more than just the HC’s wife as her contribution to the team and its players is immeasurable. Hours before getting on the field and fighting for the final spot, Jalen Milroe reflected on the strength and inspiration he drew from Miss Terry. Milroe even coined a special name for her as he fondly described the HC’s wife’s impact.

Jalen Milroe’s ultimate praise for Terry Saban

The Alabama quarterback would be spearheading the team’s offenses against the Michigan Wolverines. Hopefully, the Rose Bowl will witness a belter of a game with the deserving team winning the match. Now Jalen Milroe, while addressing the media, spoke at length about one of the support systems of the team – Terry Saban. “I consider Miss Terry as Mama Terry. You know she’s the mama of the team! But you know she has a tremendous heart and although my mom is far away from me in Texas, Miss Terry is the mama of the team.”

The young player gushed as he went to lengths in describing his relationship with Miss Terry. He even highlighted one great quality of Nick Saban’s wife. “She has a true heart, and she really cares about her football team. I cherish the relationship I have with her.” The player with 23 touchdowns also revealed that he stays connected with the Mama of the team and he can do so whenever he wishes. It’s just amazing to see the sort of relationship Miss Terry has with her players that makes the youngsters feel better supported in their games.

Miss Terry is a constant source of motivation for ‘Bama players

The Miss Terry effect on the players is unreal! Time and again she has come forth to inspire and provide motivation to her team. Another fresh example includes Terrion Arnold, Alabama’s cornerback player. He also pointed out how days before the crucial game against the Arizona Wildcats, Miss Terry offered her guidance and support to the player.

It was revealed by Nick Saban himself, who considers Arnold and his wife as great mates. “Well, you know she and Terrion are really, kind of, buddies. So I know she sort of texts with him and all that and I kind of get on them. So it’s just like raising your children. I’m the guy that’s always trying to get them to do right. She’s the momma who’s always trying to make them happy. That’s the way it’s been for a long time.”

For the ‘Bama players, they’d once again be requiring Miss Terry’s support as the team plays one of its biggest games of the season.
