Undoubtedly, we have to credit EA Sports Madden NFL for converting lots of people into football fans. The game has drawn billions in revenue since its launch in 1988 as John Madden Football. Shortly, it formed its own community, where players were entertained by the thrill of the game and the lure of the prizes.

For years, Madden NFL has reigned supreme as the game of choice for football enthusiasts. However, EA Sports has set its sights on the often-overlooked college football, promising a groundbreaking new release. With its unique features and gameplay, CFB25 is poised to take the gaming world by storm, potentially eclipsing Madden NFL in popularity.

CFB25 wins over Madden NFL

Ryan Koenigsberg (RK) revealed on DNVR Sports on YouTube why EA Sports College Football 25 is the real deal. He said about his experience playing the game as Travis Hunter, “My true initial thought is I’m going to have to probably step away from Madden to get good at college football.” RK recounted his lucrative 16-1 regular season game last night, although it went overtime.

After a highly satisfactory game experience with Travis Hunter’s smooth gameplay, RK clarified the misconception with Madden NFL 25. He said, “I’m legitimately thinking like I got to turn my attention to this college football game because it’s very different. Everyone says Madden skin, Madden skin, Madden skin. It is not Madden skin… I really want to be the best at it. So I might have to step away from the Madden league.” Tough luck for the professional league as CFB25 takes the upper lead in some aspects.

There have been multiple sneak peeks and teasers from the makers of the highly anticipated game. One of the newest updates is on players’ abilities that classify the players into elite and average players. This is similar to Madden NFL, which was introduced to the skills in Madden NFL 20. However, some differences are exclusive to the college football game.

In the upcoming CFB25 video game, the abilities of the 80 players will be divided into mental and physical categories. Each category is split into four tiers — bronze, silver, gold, and platinum. Each player can have up to five physical abilities, but the number of mental skills will depend on the position. As reported, the game will be released on July 19. So stay tuned, and don’t miss out on it!
