The QB for the Colorado Buffaloes is losing his reputation as the best QB in this year’s class. The Georgia Bulldogs’ Carson Beck will supposedly shine at the 2025 NFL Draft while Shedeur continues to shine his watches and cars. Slowly, the spotlight seems to be fading from Shedeur’s name, which isn’t something that the Colorado star is used to.

Shedeur Sanders, the QB for the Colorado Buffaloes, led his team to a poor 4-8 season while Beck stood tall at Georgia’s 13-1 record. Despite Shedeur’s breakout season last year, Carson Beck is still being touted to be the top pick for the 2025 Draft. As per Deion, Shedeur is going to be a top-5 pick, but until he proves himself, Carson Beck is the name that is overshadowing him for all the glory.

Carson Beck is better than Shedeur for the 2025 NFL Draft

On 8th June, John Vogel took to X to share his thoughts on who the top QB for next year’s draft will be. Seeing as he’s a proclaimed NFL Draft expert, he had a strong opinion about Carson Beck and his Draft prospects for next year.

As per John, the QB for the Georgia Bulldogs clears all the other quarterbacks in the 2024 class. He also added, “Y’all have to realize that Carson Beck is the best QB entering the 2025 NFL Draft. I still see a lot of debate about this. Right now it’s not even close. Beck by a mile.” Thus, it doesn’t look like Shedeur is going to sit on the throne of the NFL Draft next year since the achievements and stats of Beck are distinct from that of the Colorado QBs by quite a significance.

Carson Beck v/s Shedeur Sanders: Who’s better?

Carson Beck is entering his 4th season with the Georgia Bulldogs this year. During this time, he’s won two national champions during the years of 2021 and 2022. Though his trophies already clear Shedeur, their 2023 stats are not too different from each other. Becks’s passing yards in 2023 were 3,941 while Shedeur stood below with 3,230. However, when it comes to touchdowns, the Colorado QB scored 27, 3 more than Beck’s 24 touchdowns.

As per the 2025 Mock Draft released by the Pro Football Network, they have ranked Carson Beck as the number 1 pick and him being drafted by the Carolina Panthers. Whereas as for Shedeur, he’s being touted to be a number 8th pick and landing with the Las Vegas Raiders. Thus, this season has never been more crucial for Shedeur since he’ll need to give his best performance yet to ensure a bright NFL career.
