Caleb Williams was making headlines even before he transitioned to the NFL. The NIL deal has already made him a millionaire, with reports suggesting he will earn around $10 million in two years, an amount good enough for an NFL quarterback. The USC Trojans star is so confident about his skill set that he decided to skip the NFL combine despite being present at the camp.

In addition to the monetary benefits, he also has a strong fan base. Most of his fan base is from Chicago, merely based on speculations of him joining the Bears. The level of enthusiasm is so high that they hijacked the announcement of an important Hall of Fame game in favor of Caleb Williams.

Another fan made a similar demand by commenting, “Just put a pic of Caleb,” while another fan demanded Williams on the screen, “Put Caleb Williams on the screen.”

The demands from these fans may seem outrageous as Williams is yet to be a part of the Bears, let alone the NFL.

Caleb Williams and Chicago Bears is a deal yet to be finalized

Many tout Caleb Williams as the #1 pick in the upcoming NFL draft. Since the Bears have the first pick in the draft, fans expect Williams to be a part of their team, especially after his meetings with the executives at the NFL combine. However, these meetings do not guarantee Williams will join them, as some experts warn him against doing so.

After Deion Sanders suggested players pull an Eli Manning in the upcoming draft, Cam Newton suggested Williams do the same. He warned Williams about the huge responsibilities at the Bears camp that may affect his performance. Another NFL analyst, Robert Griffin III, asked Williams to refuse to play for the Bears, citing the example of Eli Manning from 2004.
