Colorado Buffs two-way star Travis Hunter can’t get over the shock of Georgia’s ratings in EA Sports CFB 25. After the worldwide release of the highly popular college football video game on July 19, the Georgia Bulldogs emerged as the top-ranked team. And cover boy Hunter knows how unfair it is for Colorado to face the top team in the game.

Travis Hunter was honored as one of the three coverboys of the EA CFB 25, along with Quinn Ewers and Donovan Edwards. He’s also one of the highest-rated individual players in the game. Still, the top overall team is still favored in contrast to individual rankings.

In his new YouTube episode on August 3, Travis Hunter got ready to play a game with his buddy on the screen. When his opponent picked Georgia, he expressed his frustration at how high the Bulldogs are ranked in the game. He knows it’s going to be a hard game to beat using Colorado as he said, “Look at your defense 94, offense 94, overall 95. That’s cheating.”

According to EA Sports, Georgia snags the No. 1 spot on the CFB 25 rankings with an overall rating of 95. Hunter called the Buffs “buns” in comparison to Georgia’s hype. Colorado isn’t far behind in the rating but nowhere close to the Bulldogs as they pose an overall rating of 87, 89 on offense, and 84 on defense. But as far as individual player rankings are concerned, Hunter is one of the top ranked characters along with Shedeur Sanders.

The Buffs found out their individual overall rankings at Big 12 Media Day. Among them, Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders secured a place in the top 20 with the latter ranked as the highest-rated QB with a 93 overall. But it’s a tie with Georgia’s QB Carson Beck which the 22-year-old isn’t quite delighted about. He said, “I don’t believe in ties when it comes to quarterbacks. When it comes to quarterback ratings, it’s either winner or loser.”

Meanwhile, Hunter is the unrivaled winner in the WR position with a 95 overall and 93 overall as a cornerback. With speed and acceleration ratings of 95 and 96, he has some of the best stats in the game making him a formidable choice on both offense and defense. As a talented pass-catcher, opponents will have a hard time keeping up with him. Have you tried the EA Sports CFB 25 video game? If yes, what are your experiences so far?
