Irvin likened his recruitment with the Cowboys to Seaton’s, highlighting the fact that raising a team feels different than joining the champions. As per the Pro Football Hall of Famer, if Seaton had joined an established school, he would have been a mere part of those school’s history, but here he gets to write the Buffaloes’ “great history”.

Finally, Irvin enlightened Seaton with the advice that his brother gave him when he went to school. He quoted him saying, “Michael, you go ahead messing around and not focus and three years, four years later, you’ll be doing the same thing. Or… Go chase that goal of being the best. In three years, four years from now, everybody will chase you.

To all the support Seaton could only reply, “I’m just blessed to be in this situation.” Earlier today Seaton also appeared in the Rich Eisen show, where he elaborated more on his choice of committing to Colorado.
