Nolan Smith breaks down in tears, talking about Devin Willock

Smith referred to Willock as a great friend who had a bright future. He said, This is the first time I’m talking about it,” Smith said, breaking down into tears. “That’s my guy. That’s one person that never did anything wrong. I get sensitive talking about it just because I love him and he never did anything wrong in his three years. He was supposed to graduate.

The Georgia player shared another heartbreaking story of the Willock family. Most people don’t know his brother passed like that. And I’m sorry to his mama. No one should live like that. No one deserves to die like that. He never did s**t wrong. I’m sorry for my language… Three years in a row that man showed up, worked day in and day out, he’s a two-time natty champ, you know? It’s written in stone. That’s all I’m going to say… Devin, I love you, Smith further said.

After this new information surfaced, the Georgia Police Department issued an arrest warrant against Carter.

As per the police statement, Carter was racing his car against Willock’s car, which apparently caused the accident. The police booked him for reckless driving and there will be a hearing on April 18.

It is worth noting that Carter has been one of the top prospects of this year’s NFL draft. Although Carter is adamant about proving his innocence, it could certainly impact him in the NFL draft. On the other hand, Smith showed great support for Carter and called him a great teammate, as he called Willock the same.
