Who would have imagined the 20th-ranked Colorado Buffaloes to knock down the number 1-ranked LSU Tigers? Well, that’s exactly what happened. The Buffs pulled off a 92-78 victory and Pilar Sanders, who is Deion Sanders‘ ex-wife, couldn’t be any happier. After all, her daughter, Shelomi, is a part of the team.

Shelomi has suffered through a finger fracture during an earlier Buffs practice. While fans had hoped that she would get better in time for the LSU bout, clearly she needed more time to recover.

The 19-year-old plays the guard position on the team and has been a vital part of the squad. It remains to be seen if she’ll be able to join the team in their match against Le Moyne tomorrow at 6 p.m. It’ll be held at the CU Events Center.
