With the NFL Draft fever on a high and the event almost 17 days away, the players have a bright future ahead of them to look forward to. As such, the players try not to do anything to mess up their chances of being a top pick but somehow T’Vondre Sweat chose not to care about any of these things.
T’Vondre Sweat, the defensive tackle for the Texas Longhorns, is a mighty force to be reckoned with on the field. In the 2023 season, he was awarded the Outland Trophy as well as the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year. Additionally, he led his team to the Big 12 championship and also led them to the semifinals of the CFP top 4 spots. But now, he might be throwing his career away and the fans couldn’t be more upset.

The Texas star has dug himself yet another pit after claiming that his worrying habits of partying too much were a matter of the past. As per Sunday, T’vondre Sweat has been arrested for allegedly driving while intoxicated, Though this is certainly a shame to his as well as the team’s reputation, the youngster will have to live with the consequences if a good NFL decides to not draft due to this peculiar issue. T’Vondre Sweat was granted a $3000 bail from a DWI case
As per reports, the record states that the athlete was booked on Sunday at 2:12 pm but was later released after pledging a $3000 bond. The Draft is set to take place in Detroit, from 25th April to 27th April but will his recent encounter with the law raise questions on his capabilities?

He was arrested and detained in Travis Country jail and Swear was apprehended on Sunday at 2 pm. However, he was later released after pledging a $3000 bond. Moreover, with the talent and the skills that Sweat brings to the table, he is projected to be either a first or a two-round pick. It isn’t confirmed whether this incident might tamper his NFL chances but there’s nothing that can mess it up for this event.
