Chidozie Nwankwo, the defensive tackle for the Colorado Buffaloes, manages to shock the fans with his recent intense workout video. The 5’11, 295 pounds, is a force to be reckoned with, as linemen often have difficulty going through him on the field. He is one of the newer weapons that the Colorado Buffaloes boast of and is sure to change the trajectory of the team in the upcoming season.

The Colorado Buffaloes didn’t have the best season last year. Despite the fans ‘ high hopes for Deion Sanders, they ended their run at a poor record of 4-8. Coach Prime’s team ended up in the last spot of the points table but was still praised for the massive improvement from the 2022 season. Now as the team prepares itself for the upcoming season, Deion has signed on a variety of new players to improve the overall performance of the Buffs. Out of the several transfers, Chidozie Nwankwo continues to wow fans with his sheer determination.

In a recent Instagram live video, Nwankwo was seen working out. He was doing a unique type of pushup exercise that pushes one’s body to the extremes. This feat led to a wave of fans expressing their respect for the athlete. This recent addition to the team will soar the Buffs’ defensive tactics to a whole another level as he matches the sort of determination that Coach Prime expects.

What’s more admirable to see is that Nwankwo was seen working out in the Colorado exercise center on one of his off days. This shows his commitment to being the best version of himself by continuing to shatter the walls of fitness. Moreover, he continues to gain popularity among his fans for his build and the fierceness that he displays in his plays. In response to Nwankwo joining the Colorado Buffaloes, this is what his former coach had to say about the youngster.

Nwankwo’s former coach in Houston comments on him joining Coach Prime’s team

The Colorado Buffaloes were a cakewalk for all the rival teams last season. Their offense lacked quality players who could receive the ball Shedeur would throw out to them. Moreover, the defense was quite weak, which meant that Shedeur was prone to damage from the offensive tackles. Meaning, it was crucial for the team that players like Nwankwo be added to the roster to strengthen the squad. Houston assistant defensive line coach Nathon Trawick, Nwankwo’s previous coach, had nothing but well wishes for his time in Colorado.

Trawick touchingly said, “I think he’s gonna be an instant impact. You’re talking about a guy who’s played four years and been extremely durable. He’s a nose tackle who’s in extremely great shape and when he plays there (Colorado), he’s going to be able to play 40, 50 snaps a game. That’s the type of shape he’s in.” Thus, the fans can expect the ‘Block Bully’ to make a major impact on the playing style of Colorado as the next season draws near.
