NFL prospect of Kamari Lassiter
Kamari did not participate in the NFL Combine, which has affected his ratings, as he has a prospect grade of 6.22, resulting in his 22nd rank among CBs. Billed at 5’11 and 186 lbs, Kamari is athletic and has the instinct for his position. NFL analyst Lance Zierlein writes, “Lassiter has the athleticism and dog to play press-man coverage and all forms of zone.” With such talent, Kamari is expected to be drafted in Round 3 of the upcoming draft.
ESPN’s Matt Bowen stated earlier that he feels Kamari Lassiter could be a great fit for the Green Bay Packers as a secondary to Jeff Hafley. Bowen writes, “He’s competitive and aggressive in man coverage schemes, and he sees plays develop quickly when playing zone coverage. Lassiter has the physical style to tackle on the perimeter, too.”
In another mock NFL draft by The Houston Chronicle, Lassiter was drafted by the Houston Texans. Where do you guys think he’ll end up? Let us know in the comments.
