In an emotional turn of events, the red-handed robber has bid adieu to his team. It’s been some top-notch detective work from the NCAA as they got into investigating one of the publicized controversies in recent times.

For Connor Stalions especially, these are some trying times as he finds himself cast as a villain in public eyes. The prying public has been preying on the stealer as justice is finally served! Stalions came forward and spoke for the first time since he was called out for his unsportsmanlike actions. Speaking to The Athletic, the retired Marine Corps was vocal about the proceedings.

His honest yet emotional statement shows the staffer’s passion for the side. As the growing scandal clouds over the Michigan side, this saga has now put a bad image on the team’s credibility. What it means for the highly-competitive side going forward, is that players would be skeptical. In the remaining games, the opposition management would have their doubts and apprehensions. While it might take some time for Michigan State to rebuild their reputation, especially with Stalion’s presumed blatant admission of guilt.

Once the story broke two weeks ago. Michigan didn’t play any long games and suspended Conor with pay. He might have seen it coming ever since he carried out the controversial sign-stealing. Ever since media reports came in regarding Stalions purchasing and buying tickets for nearly 30 games. All in a bid done to scout teams along with having paper trails. Michigan team has now cut ties with their staffer. It’s a tragic end for what was the darkest-ever phase for the NCAA.
It pains me to see that the premier footballing college league is plagued with controversies. It’s a moment of rejoicing for the true lovers of the sport to see that the culprit meets the right judgment.
