Despite leading the regular college football season with 13-0, the No. 1 Michigan Wolverines may be facing recruitment setbacks. As a top-tier program, Michigan is hunting for elite 5-star players to its roster, one of which was 5-star recruit Jordan Seaton. Unfortunately for the Wolverines, the OT chose Colorado over Michigan. Following Jordan Seaton’s commitment to Colorado, another elite recruit loss could be impending.

Bryce Underwood could ditch Michigan for LSU

Michigan is open about its pursuit of the top player in the 2025 class. To add to the hype, Bryce Underwood recently led Belleville to the state title game. But the probability of Bryce Underwood joining the LSU Tigers over the Michigan Wolverines is staggering. There is a stark difference between the 91.9% chance of the star QB signing for LSU compared to a 3.7% likelihood of joining Michigan.

Bryce Underwood was also named the 2023 winner of the Michigan High School Football Player of the Year award. But Michigan isn’t the only team vying for his attention. He has already listed seven programs that he would be interested in joining. They are LSU, Alabama, Michigan, Colorado, Penn State, Oregon, and Florida State.
