The SEC Tournament game between the South Carolina Gamecocks and the LSU Tigers at Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville was intense because of the play as well as the scuffle. The two stars of the teams — Kamilla Cardoso and Angel Reese — gave rise to the tension as they began to get physical with bumping and pushing.

In the fourth quarter, the scuffle climaxed with SC players and LSU Flau’jae Johnson engaged in trash talk. The LSU player bumped SC’s Ashlyn Watkins. Then, Cardoso forcefully pushed Johnson over in retaliation, resulting in Johnson’s brother jumping into the court. The heated action prompted many to react, including Deion Sanders, who made his thoughts about the whole scenario public.

The tension rose so high in the fourth quarter that LSU guard Flau’Jae Johnson’s brother Trayron Milton even jumped inside the court. In a recent YouTube discussion by Deion Sanders on SWAY’S UNIVERSE, the Buffs’ HC delivered his thoughts on what he reflected upon Milton’s behavior. He said, “I’m just trying to figure out what this brother is going to do. Are you going to hit a woman? … He reacted.”

Coach Prime and his companions on the show dismissed his actions as “impulsive.” After the incident where he came in contact with SC forward Kamilla Cardoso, Milton was arrested and charged with battery, assault, and disorderly conduct by the Greenville Police and put in jail but is reportedly out of jail now. Because of the heated brawl, six players were ejected in the fourth quarter. Despite Cardoso being one of the players to be ejected, SC still went on to win their second consecutive SEC Tournament title after beating LSU 79-72. But the media wasn’t lenient on Cardoso.
