There’s no doubt about it. Coach Prime and every Colorado Buffaloes staffer is satisfied with what they’ve recruited for the 2024 season. And who else but the director of player personnel, Corey Phillips, would beam with pride for his hard work? He said of the 2024 recruits and transfers, “It’s a different spirit and energy… They care about each other. That’s the first sign of winning.”
While Phillips’ recruiting skills shine on the football field, he has a gem in his life in the form of his son growing up to become as “handsome” and “smart” as his dad. His love and affection for his son are purely portrayed in his heartfelt message that he penned down on his birthday.

Colorado Buffs’ protection-driven recruiting could work wonders
After Shedeur Sanders experienced a hard season in 2023, Corey Phillips is taking the orders to amp protection for their star QB. He said, “I’ve been tasked and I know what my matching orders are. First and foremost, we got to protect the 2024 Heismam Trophy winner, Shedeur Sanders.” In compliance with the order, he helped in bringing 24 transfers and seven recruits to Colorado for the 2024 season.

Previously, 5-star OT Jordan Seaton has vowed that Shedeur Sanders getting sacked 52 times will never happen again. In his recent statement, he said, “Whoever’s behind me at quarterback, I’m going to block my b**t off.
