The Buffs, known for their adaptability, swiftly transitioned from the pleasant outdoors of Thursday’s spring practice to the indoor arena due to strong winds, all in preparation for their first scrimmage. Despite the change in setting, the team showcased their skills in many exciting plays during Saturday’s practice. Notably, Hank Zilinskas and Yakiri Walker stepped up, receiving reps with the first-team offensive line at center. Kahlil Benson took the right tackle, Justin Mayers and Tyler Brown positioned as guard, and Jordan Seaton worked at left tackle.

Travis Hunter led the offense, paving the way for a touchdown from Shedeur Sanders. Herman Smith’s remarkable pass breakup on a deep pass to Hunter and Dylan Edwards’s successful TD pass from Shedeur Sanders were standout moments. However, the inspiring pep talk from Deion Sanders truly ignited the Buffs.

Deion Sanders delivers a powerful message on giving and receiving

Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes are kicking off their first 2024 Spring Ball Scrimmage. But before that, Coach Prime has something interesting to say about the gift and the giver. In the latest YouTube video uploaded by Well Off Media, the Buffs HC slammed the mistake of the current generation, saying, “In this generation, y’all focused on the gift. You’re not focused on the giver.”

Deion Sanders also called out the coaches of different positions as well as the parents present in the room to stand up. He then told his players, “These are the consistent givers but you’re so focused on the gift. You overlook and overpass the darn givers and the givers need their love too. Because the thing about the givers, they can continuously teach you how to get another bag (money) and another bag and another bag.” Now, this message about getting money and giving due credit to the giver came at an interesting time after Shedeur Sanders recently bought an expensive $100K Cybertruck.

Shedeur Sanders’ first in Colorado Cybertruck

The 22-year-old Buffs QB, Shedeur Sanders, made headlines with his recent extravagant purchase from Tesla. He acquired a Cybertruck, proudly calling it the “first Cybertruck they dropped… they have delivered in Colorado.” His lavish acquisition not only captured the attention of fans but also sparked reactions from Deion Sanders Jr., who expressed admiration, saying, “I’m trying to be like you when I grow up man. This Cybertruck is kind of crazy.

For Shedeur Sanders, one of the highest earners in college sports with a NIL valuation of $4.7 million, the Cyberbeast is just another addition to his $1 million car collection. Hopefully, this season will put the starting QB in a good light on the field so that his charisma improves even on the field.
