Deion Sanders applauds Cam Newton’s narrative

In a new YouTube episode on I AM ATHLETE, Cam Newton reveals what Coach Prime told him after the recent Charleston White ‘F*ck Deion’ incident on the Funky Friday Podcast. Cam Newton recalled what Coach Prime told him on FaceTime, saying, “He’s like I’m proud of you man, how you been able to create the narrative your way. And this is the thing. He said there’s only a handful of black people, n*ggas, minority people, who’ve been able to say when it’s all said and done, I did it my way.” He quotes Deion Sanders, “Cam, you’re one of those people.

Deion Sanders and his sons reaped hatred from Charleston White who has gone to extremes to declare his anger over the Sanders family for leaving JSU. He recently said of Coach Prime, “F*ck Deion Sanders and his sons for leaving Jackson State, f*ck Nipsey Hussle, f*ck King Von, f*ck Jay-Z!” And it’s not the first time he’s poured his hate on Deion Sanders.

Charleston White’s fury towards Deion Sanders

Cam Newton asked Charleston White to enlighten him about his statement about Deion Sanders. To which White replied, “I can say f*ck Deion ’cause Deion coasted my city before with Prime. I know the East Side Falcons used to play. So, I know about Deion… That ain’t respect worthy. And I ain’t really saying f*ck Deion. I’m telling black people to say, ‘Fu** Deion because what happened.

Charleston White is distraught because Coach Prime preferred a “school that’s 92% white” when he could’ve brought the spotlight to HBCU. Cam Newton countered his guest saying, “So let me ask you this, if you was in Deion Sanders’ situation, you would have stayed at Jackson State?“, to which White replied no. He even went to the extent of wishing injury on Shedeur Sanders saying, “I damn near wanna put $20,000 up on any college player that’ll hurt his son.”

Is he just a harmless disappointed fan or a potential hazard to the Sanders family? With Coach Prime, these shocking incidents are regular things. Hopefully, it’s just banter but fans remain concerned with Charleston White’s audacity.
