The Dallas Cowboys kick started their preseason game against the Denver Broncos. As many know, the Cowboys lost thoroughly against the eight-time AFC Championship winners. The Broncos dominated the whole game and defeated their opponents 17-7 point. Denver had dominated over the Cowboys in much of the training sessions. They did so again in the match-up on Saturday.
The new Denver quarterback Josh Johnson impressed the crowd. The 36-year-old who is playing his 14th season with the Broncos threw a pair of first-half touchdown passes. That inevitably beat the Cowboys.

Along with that, the team which lost gained an enormous amount of penalties to their name. The penalties proved as an onslaught over them. This, in turn, helped the Broncos to maintain pressure and lead the game the entire time.

However, just when the Dallas Cowboys were making a stir in the game, it was stuffed by an interception at the hands of P.J. Locke on fourth down. Then the offense spurred out of their slumber when Johnson got his first completion for Seth Williams for 19 yards. The first quarter ended with the Cowboys facing fourth down in a midfield.

After a failed fourth down by the Cowboys, the Denver Broncos switched to play big on their offense. In the second quarter, the Broncos jumped to 17 points.
Rain played spoilsport in the third quarter, but only remained a minor hindrance. The Cowboys restrained Denver on their own one-yard line with theirs. The Cowboys could not stop accumulating penalties. They acquired 14 of those in 114 yards.

However, in the initial fourth quarter, Dallas showed their best, but the game remained at zero points for them because of a missed field goal. This time, penalties caught Broncos from the 1st to the 25th. The game went on whilst both the teams gathered penalties. The Dallas Cowboys scored late points because of which the Denver Broncos won the game by 17-7 record points.
