The Jacksonville Jaguars picked Lawrence in the first round of the 2020 Draft. He did something peculiar at the time of his medical testing to confirm his contract with the team. It is not every day that we see someone bailing on their medical test just to meet their inspiration.

However, Lawrence did exactly that to meet Super Bowl LIV winner Patrick Mahomes. In addition, he bailed on his medical testing to get married to his long-time girlfriend, Marissa Mowry. He proposed to her in July 2020 in South Carolina at the Clemson University stadium.
