Philadelphia Eagles Quarterback Carson Wentz is “Promoted to Daddy”

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz and his wife Maddie welcomed new life into the world. The couple became proud parents to a baby girl late on Monday night. Later, the 27-year-old shared the news on social media with all his followers. 

Carson Wentz is “promoted to daddy” 

“Late last night my beautiful wife and I were blessed to welcome our sweet little girl into the World! Hadley Jayne Wentz is a true blessing from the Lord and we are so pumped to be her parents. I love these two with everything I have! God is soooo good!”

Baby Wentz weighs 8 pounds and is 20 inches and is the apple of her parents’ eyes. Her father donned a special T-shirt for the occasion which read “promoted to daddy.”

Late last year while the couple was preparing for Christmas and Wentz trying his best to lead the Eagles to playoff the couple used their golden retrievers to spread the good news.

Later in December when they revealed the baby’s gender they didn’t imagine that she would be born amidst a pandemic that has claimed the lives of over 217,000 people and infected over 3,100,000.

The pandemic ensured Hadley was unable to be surrounded by other family members at the time of her birth. It also means that she will not be able to go for a pram ride outside. Her father too is stuck at home and could be there for a long time as the NFL preseason activities have been disrupted.

The silver lining for him here though is that he gets to spend quality tie with his firstborn.
