Before slowing her pace and raising her two children with ex-husband Tom Brady, Bündchen was cooking up a storm in the fashion industry. But her success did not happen overnight. The model revealed that after signing her contract, she was working non-stop. An excerpt from her memoir reads, “By 1999, after I signed a contract with Victoria’s Secret, I was working 350 days a year.”

Bündchen revealed that during a typical season, modeling was a one-day job. Most of the other days were occupied by fittings for shows. The model also elaborated on the odd hours she’d be called in for hair and makeup. She said, “Hair and makeup could start at six a.m. and the fittings at times lasted until dawn. It didn’t matter if I got to bed at two a.m. the night before- I needed to do fittings.” In other parts of her memoir, Bündchen revealed that discipline was a key part of her success.

Bündchen has a positive outlook on life
