It’s been nearly 2 weeks since the Harris County grand jury decides not to prosecute quarterback Deshaun Watson with the felony. A grand jury in Brazoria County was pursuing additional allegations recently. However, that no longer appears to be happening, but he might face a suspension from the NFL. But for how long?

After hearing a case against the quarterback, a grand jury in Brazoria County, Texas, reached the judgment on Thursday. Even though Watson, 26, recently moves from the Houston Texans to the Cleveland Browns, he might face NFL penalties even though he has not even been levied with a misdemeanor.

Will the NFL shelve Deshaun Watson?

NFL Insider Ian Rapoport addresses his opinion over an imaginable suspension for Deshaun Watson during his appearance on the Patt McAfee Show. Now the situation can be a possibility in the future. The Insider is also blurry over the circumstances.

He mentions, “I think everyone wants to know right now how long he’s going to be suspended. It’s going to be four games, six games, eight games, or no games. I mean, those are all basically the possibilities. Honestly, as of right now, I don’t know how long he’s going to be suspended. I think teams assumed it’d be a handful, but no one actually knows.”

After the bombshell Watson trade, the situation for Baker Mayfield becomes dubious. For someone who has been a QB1 for the team, seeing his alternate enter the team is a cataclysm. The athlete’s message over Twitter also grew some queries that this can be the end of his term in Ohio. From the No.1 overall pick, he has now become the last QB option on the board.

Mayfield has had a rocky time in Cleveland, in which he spent his first three seasons under 4 distinct head coaches. In Week 2 of this past season, he tore the labrum in his non-throwing shoulder and toiled the remaining distance. As a result, the Browns could not make the playoffs and concluded with an 8-9 record.

Rackety attitude aside, he grabs some interest from other franchises. While the Pittsburgh Steelers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been doing their research on the athlete. The Indianapolis Colts can also be a suitable landing spot to make a massive comeback from the previous season’s upset.
