Dak Prescott

It’s no secret that Dak Prescott was the glue that was holding together Jerry Jones’ Dallas Cowboys. Since his injury in Week 5, the Cowboys have won just one of their last seven games in the league.

Prescott is eligible for a free trade move in the summer since he’s currently on a one-year franchise tag worth $31.4 million. Of course, the Cowboys reserve the right to call dibs on their so-called ‘franchise quarterback’ but will Prescott push for a move away from Dallas remains to be seen.

Drew Brees

42-year-old Drew Brees is now entering the twilight of his NFL career, just like his good friend, Tom Brady. However, Brees is out for the moment with an extended spell on the sidelines due to multiple rib injuries and a collapsed lung.

Realistically, he has two options to choose from – bow out of the game with grace and enjoy retirement or get one last paycheck and go out with a bang.

Sam Darnold

As we approach Week 14 of the season, the New York Jets are yet to register a win in the regular season. Quarterback Sam Darnold is on a 0-8 record in 2020. However, he has caught the eyes of NFL scouts due to his nature as a dual-threat quarterback.

He was the third overall pick in the 2018 NFL draft. The youngster will enter the third year of his rookie deal in 2021. He is being rumored to have attracted interest from the likes of the San Francisco 49ers, Pittsburgh Steelers, and the Indianapolis Colts.

Matthew Stafford

For several years now, Matthew Stafford has generated major plaudits for his exploits with NFC North franchise Detroit Lions. He’s been in Michigan since 2009 and has shown consistency while playing for the underperforming Lions in the last 11 years.

Stafford signed a five-year extension with his current employers in 2017. The Lions might look to cash-in on their prized asset after so many years in order to generate funds to sign a replacement. Stafford has more than 3,200+ yards and 21 passing touchdowns in 2020. He seems like the perfect quarterback to play for a coach like Frank Reich or Bill Belichick.
