Tom Brady had an awkward few seconds at the ’80 for Brady’ movie premiere yesterday. The former New England Patriots quarterback made his acting and producing debut with some iconic actors. And fans spotted a moment where the seven-time Super Bowl champion felt slightly out of place.

After the Tampa Bay Buccaneers‘ elimination at the hands of the Dallas Cowboys in the wild-card playoff round, Brady has been spending time with his kids and around his new movie production venture. With ’80 for Brady’ releasing on Friday, a host of stars congregated for the Smirnoff-ice red carpet premiere.

Tom Brady didn’t know what to do with his hands

Brady remained quite active on his Instagram stories throughout the red-carpet event. The four protagonists of ’80 for Brady’ also joined the designated NFL G.O.A.T. Sally Field, Rita Moreno, Lily Tomlin, and Jane Fonda star in this comedy-adventure flick that documents their journey to Super Bowl LI to root for their favorite football player, TB12.

Brady and the girls posed for the host of cameras. And the QB thought it was more attention than football matches get. “Like a Super Bowl, but more cameras,” Brady posted on his IG story. However, once the actors left the stage for Brady, he didn’t exactly know what to do around the paparazzi. “What are you supposed to do with your hands,” Brady asked his fans.

With free agency looming, and Brady’s Buccaneers days seemingly at an end, fans thought he should instead use his hands to sign a contract with the San Francisco 49ers. They could sure use a quarterback after what happened in the NFC Championship game.

TB12 finally found something to keep his hand busy

Brady couldn’t deal with the awkwardness much longer. And when a media person offered him a microphone smaller than usual, Brady had found the perfect fit for his championship hands. “Mic check. 1,2,3..,” Brady played around. He also posted the tiny microphone to his IG story captioned, “love a tiny mic.

Brady’s former teammate and 4x Super Bowl champion, Rob Gronkowski, couldn’t make it to the premiere. And Brady was probably relieved, considering the Sally Field and TB12 connection the Gronk has been firing up.

Brady’s NFL future still hangs in the balance. However, for the time being, it’s ’80 for Brady’- a ride back in time to the historic ’28-3′ comeback victory against the Atlanta Falcons to clinch the Lombardi Trophy.
