The Miami Dolphins went up against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday. They lost the game by 26-20. Additionally, Tua Tagovailoa entered the NFL’s concussion protocol a day after the matchup. The QB experienced and displayed symptoms of concussion when he spoke to the team doctors on Monday. This is the second time the 24-year-old had been put on the concussion protocol. The news spread and got various reactions from fans on Twitter.

Even though Miami won against the Bills 21-19 in September, it was the first time when the QB appeared disoriented in the game. Tua stumbled when he stood up after Bills LB Matt Milano hit him hard in the first half. Tagovailoa left the game for three snaps and returned after halftime. Many fans questioned the league and NFLPA for letting him return to the game.
Mike McDaniel had said that independent specialists did many checks on the QB. He had passed them and only then they allowed Tua to play against the Bengals.

September was a tough month for Miami QB. The game between Dolphins-Bengals saw the horrific sight of the lead QB being taken off the field on a stretcher. Bengals’ Josh Tupou chased and threw Alabama product on the turf in the first half. Tagovailoa lay on the ground for over seven minutes. Then he was taken to the hospital with reported head and neck injuries. Tua was put under concussion protocol. His pains did not end there.
On Sunday, the young player hit his head on the ground when he was tackled in the second quarter. Neither did he leave the game, nor was he evaluated for a concussion.

How has he not been shut down for the season? 3 concussions in a single season (within 3 months of each other) can take up to 3 years to properly heal and be back to baseline. Each time you get on while healing for the previous just multiplies the recovery
Although this fan hoped for Tagovailoa’s speedy recovery, they were dubious of his mental state.

A player can exit the protocol whenever they clear all the five-step processes levied by the league. This means there are chances that the QB may return to the field to play against the New England Patriots.
The injury has come at a difficult time when the team has stopped to 8-7 and has lost four straight games.
