Former Broncos star Derek Wolfe received a call to join in a hunt for a mountain lion. The big cat was allegedly wreaking havoc in the neighborhood. Wolfe was able to eventually kill the mountain lion, stating that he used his bow and arrow. The Super Bowl 50 champion took to Instagram to share the news with fans.

Part of his caption read, “Late Tuesday night I got a call from @huntnest to see if I wanted to stalk a giant Tom (male mountain lion) who has been wreaking havoc in a rural neighborhood. He had already killed two of her dogs and was living under her porch” He added, “Exhausted, dehydrated, cramping I drew back my @hoytbowhunting and sent an @sevrbroadheads through him.” While fans who indulged in similar pursuits applauded Wolfe, others were on the fence.
