Aaron Rodgers raised some eyebrows this week after the hanging remarks about his future with the Green Bay Packers. And ESPN’s Adam Schefter reinstated the floating belief that the Packers may trade their quarterback for a younger option this year.

Furthermore, the Packers are probably not intending to fulfill all of Aaron’s conditions. And the organization may have to part ways with many players, some of whom are indispensable ‘glue guys’ for Aaron Rodgers. The reigning back-to-back league MVP believes he still has it in him. However, the experts don’t know if he’s going to be in Wisconsin for that.

Aaron Rodgers has had trade rumors surrounding him for the past three years. However, this year, that looks like a more plausible scenario after an 8-10 Packers season without the playoffs. Rodgers said on the Pat McAfee Show that he would be fine if the Packers decided to go with a younger quarterback next season.

Both sides are fully aware that a trade is a very real scenario this offseason for Aaron Rodgers. The issue here will be the $110 million left on his contract and which team could afford it. But there is a real possibility that at some point this offseason, Aaron Rodgers is going to be traded,Schefter said on ESPN’s NFL Countdown.

However, contrary to A-Rod’s expectations, fans and experts didn’t take his positive comments with the same enthusiasm. They’d rather Aaron focused on a Lombardi Trophy and not the MVP accolades. Even legendary tight end Rob Gronkowski called Rodgers out for his selfish ambitions.
