Aaron Rodgers didn’t have the best season with the Green Bay Packers. And the four-times league MVP cannot escape the criticisms after the end of the regular season, with just the Super Bowl left before the off-season. This time it’s Von Miller who has angered A-Rod fans over his remarks.

The Buffalo Bills‘ linebacker had Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews over on his Super Bowl LVII special podcast episode of ‘The VonCast’. And the two went quite candid when the topic of Lamar Jackson’s contract came up. And they ended up trashing the Packers quarterback in the process.

The topic of discussion was never the 39-year-old Rodgers. And to be honest, Miller could have expressed his admiration for Lamar ‘Action’ Jackson without bringing A-Rod into the equation.

He [Lamar Jackson] does more than Aaron Rodgers. He throws, he passes. Man, he does everything. And Aaron Rodgers is getting $50 million a year,” said 2x Super Bowl champion and former Bronco Von Miller. And while Lamar’s teammate Mark Andrews whole-heartedly agreed to Miller’s assessment, fans didn’t.

Some Lamar fans agreed for obvious reasons. However, overall, it was mostly A-Rod’s fanbase that voiced their discontent.

Even when 2011 Super Bowl MVP Aaron Rodgers tried to escape his NFL worries with some golfing action, the criticisms followed anyway. The QB recently won the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am golf tournament after nine years of trying. However, it wasn’t a clean win.

Rodgers and Ben Silverman clinched the first spot in the amateur’s section. However, Buffalo quarterback Josh Allen and his teammate Keith Mitchell could only manage the fourth spot. And they were not happy with the results, especially with A-Rod being given an unfair handicap advantage. Allen booed Aaron Rodgers jokingly, before interrupting his victory press conference.

Mitchell, on the other hand, doesn’t count Rodgers as the winner. “If we finished second to Aaron, I’ll consider us winning the trophy,” Mitchell stated. However, Aaron Rodgers will try to levitate above the hate, as he enjoys the Super Bowl this Sunday and goes on an isolation retreat to figure his future out.
