Packers RB Aaron Jones heaps praise on teammate Aaron Rodgers

On the latest segment of GMFB, hosts Peter Schrager, Kyle Brandt and Nate Burleson were joined by Green Bay star Aaron Jones. He was asked to give his take on Rodgers’ MVP-caliber season. Here’s what he replied.

He said, “Aaron Rodgers is the 2020 MVP because of the stats on his interception to touchdown ratio…we’re rolling and he is the man right now and I don’t see anybody really stopping him.”

“I feel like he’s an MVP, he deserves it. He’s earned it, he even got some rushing touchdowns in this year…but I’m loving playing with him. He makes the game easy for you. You could tell he’s a true vet and a true leader,” Jones said on the show.

Rodgers has already thrown for 4,000+ yards with 44 passing TDs to his name as we approach Week 17. He will be confident to keep up the good work as he aims for a third NFL MVP award.

For someone who was being written off back in June, he sure has silenced his critics in the most effective manner. Do you think the old warhorse has it in him to seal the deal? Tell us in the comments section below.
