As a result, he expressed his usual best as he sat with TV host Erin Andrews before the start of the season. In a freewheeling conversation, A-Rod spoke about many topics, and shed light on a few areas he has not touched on before. One aspect that stood tall in the conversation was his bonding with former teammate Davante Adams.

Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams: Men on a mission

Davante Adams is not with the Packers anymore. He has moved on. However, the Packers still miss him. At least Rodgers does. Talking about Adams, the veteran showered praises on the explosive WR and touched upon their on-ground chemistry.

“It has been strange for sure. He has been a safety blanket. Just a man of games which is of a high level, or non-verbal communication. The stuff we can do in our sleep. That takes years and years of experience and game to play together,” says the star campaigner about his time with Adams. 

When Davante Adams decided to move to Vegas, Aaron Rodgers was surprised. He even made a request to which Adams couldn’t say no, but the receiver did, in the end. The fact that Aaron Rodgers is at the fag end of his career also plays a role in why Adams left the scene, despite being told to stay.
