Aaron Rodgers became a high-profile buzz throughout the offseason. But his public acceptance of the use of Ayahuasca left everyone thinking. The Packers QB took the psychedelic retreat to Peru for his performance ability and to mend relationships. However, he called the journey did not help rebuild the bonding with his estranged family.

The Green bay Packers QB1 sat with NBC Sports’ Peter Smith to shed light on the positive effects of ayahuasca usage. Nevertheless, he came to say that it had not made a difference in his and his family’s dysfunctional relationship the way he wanted. Even though the process of familial recoupling was ongoing, his statements suggest otherwise.

Aaron Rodgers mentioned, “Honestly, that was a big intention I brought into the second journey this offseason. I really felt like I wanted to surrender and open up to the medicine for some healing to come through and some direction on how to kind of go about that. And it didn’t. It didn’t necessarily. The big message was unconditionally loving myself is the key to being able to heal all relationships—with them, past relationships with lovers, whatever it might be… So that gives me a lot of hope in healing at some point.”

Rodgers further said he learned to love himself better, which has altered everything as it impacted every connection. It also includes his attitude toward his family members and his wish for restoration at a certain point.

The QB’s romantic and familial ties have made the headlines in recent decades. Following a years-long public dispute, the NFL MVP and his brother, Jordan Rodgers, only recently started speaking again.

How did Aaron Rodgers’ familial dispute begin?

Aaron Rodgers and his open nature constantly stir up the news. But his appearance on Danica Patrick’s Pretty Intense Podcast was when the family dispute began. After A-Rod built questions about their beliefs, it turned eyes on the quarterback. Moreover, reports also suggest that his comments about their beliefs irritated the family. The quarterback attempted to maintain his argument, but the statement referencing “fiery hell” could be the breaking point.

Rodgers did not declare himself to be an atheist. Many people could perceive him as someone who rejects the notion of gods or god-like phenomena. His words appear to resound the sentiments of a growing number of general people and the NFL Universe.
