Aaron Rodgers posted a slew of pictures on Instagram, sending the social media world into a frenzy. The Packers QB put up a long caption along with the pictures, with the major theme being around ‘gratitude’. 

The NFL community began its speculation around ‘what the post means’. It is difficult to ignore that there’s a layer of nostalgia hidden under the gratitude that Rodgers expressed. 

It is pure speculation at this point, but such a heartfelt out-pour is generally reserved for goodbyes. Rodgers’ retirement has been a matter of speculation for a while now. With this cryptic post, social media says he’ll call it quits. As one Twitter user put it, “Leaving GB or the NFL? That’s the question.”

Rodgers just went through a tough time personally. That can have a major impact on his professional decisions. He first thanks Shailene Woodley, showcasing that even though the two have called it quits, Aaron appreciates her kindness and love. Woodley reportedly left Rodgers because she thought he chose football over her. But it was not a bitter ending, and the spilt was amicable, as per reports.

Love for the Quarterback room 

He goes on to thank his quarterback room compatriots in Jordan Love and Kurt Benkert. Both commented on the post reciprocating the gratitude the senior quarterback showered on social media.
