Aaron Rodgers Gave a Cameo on Game of Thrones; Spots Himself in a Clip

NFL franchise Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is one of the more familiar figures on the field than maybe on the silver screen. The reigning league MVP made an appearance during the final season of the fantasy drama series Game of Thrones. While the news about his cameo made rounds on social media, NFL fans were desperate to be the first to catch a glimpse of Rodgers.

The news about his cameo appearance was confirmed by the Packers‘ QB on his official Instagram account. He shared it by giving his followers a taste of some things to come in the final season.

It was a photo of him behind the scenes while being decked out as a soldier running for his life as Daenerys sets fire to the King’s Landing in “The Bells.”

The talented QB, though, never revealed the exact moment he would be coming up in the scene. It was following his appearance on the ’10 Questions With Kyle Brandt’ show that fans were able to locate him.

While talking about his appearance and clearing up confusion, Rodgers states, “I had a very brief time. Arya is running through the streets, trying to get out. And there is a scene where she comes down these steps and I’m there. They flip it around, and you can see me briefly again. So it was a ‘right there’ and ‘right there’ moment, and it was fun to be part of it.

Was Aaron Rodgers happy with the Game of Thrones final season?

The Packers QB has been one of the die-hard fans of the series and claimed that it was fun being part of the show. He also states his comments about how the season should have ended and how it could have been better. The final season did come under criticism from fans about different aspects.

But host Brandt did share his criticisms about the production and their efforts to bring in the reigning league MVP. He believes that all of their efforts were laid to waste by the lazy scriptwriters.

It was a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment, which might have been annoying for many NFL fans.

While being part of any project as big as Game of Thrones might have been exciting, the end product for Rodgers might have left him wanting more. The NFL fans will look forward to welcoming him back away from the fantasy world as the 2022 NFL campaign kicks off.
