Aaron Rodgers, the longtime Packers quarterback, has won back-to-back MVP awards. As a result, rumor-town says he might want to be the QB with the biggest paycheck. However, Diana Russini’s shocking revelations about Rodgers’ demands prompted Pat McAfee to contact Rodgers regarding her claims. Consequently, Rodgers replied with just two words to the NFL reporter’s report.

On Thursday, ESPN’s Diana Russini reported that Rodgers is aiming to be the highest-earning football player in the league by a longshot. Additionally, he is seeking a contract that would pay him $50 million a  year.

McAfee clarifies reports about Aaron Rodgers

One person who can shed light on Rodgers would have to be his close friend Pat McAfee. Therefore, following Russini’s reports, McAfee contacted Rodgers on Friday.

McAfee texted Rodgers to inquire if the reports about him asking for such a large sum of money are true. In response, the four-time MVP wrote that the reports are “categorically false.”

Thus, recent reports about Rodgers have caused him to receive a lot of backlashes. Although it is unknown whether the reports are accurate or not, we should see some clarity very soon. If McAfee is to be believed and he is a good authority, the matter is closed. But if there’s any truth to the matter, the future for Green Bay remains undecided.
