Rodgers was tackled by Leonard Floyd tearing his Achilles in the process. The QB got up for a short amount of time but could not withstand the pain. He was immediately carted off the field to the locker room. He then proceeded to get the X-rays done for his ankles, which turned out to be negative for the injury. Later today, Rodgers’ Achilles was reported to be injured after the MRI test.

As of now, it’s only predicted that Rodgers will miss the remaining 2023 season, but this may turn into Rodgers’ worst nightmare as he recently announced his return to the field, only to sustain such a brutal injury.

All of this just puts more pressure on Quarterback Zach Wilson to carry his team forward with the veteran QB. Fortunately for the Jets, they have a lead as their season just started.
