It is no surprise that Aaron Rodgers is a star QB for the Green Bay Packers. With his unbelievable feats, the 38-year-old has now won four MVP awards in his career. However, his story waits to be etched in golden words. Rodgers has won two consecutive MVP awards in 2020 and 2021.

Moreover, if the star QB wins the award in the NFL 2022 season, he will join Brett Favre in being the only two players in the history of the NFL to win three consecutive MVP awards.

In retrospect, the only player to win three consecutive MVPs was a Green Bay Packers’ QB as well. The NFL veteran, Brett Favre, won the 1997 Super Bowl and is celebrated as an all-time great in the NFL books.

What was Brett Favre’s record? Can Aaron Rodgers match it?

The 1x Super Bowl winner, Favre, holds the record of winning the MVP award constantly for three seasons. He won the award in 1995 and followed his run till 1997, making history in the league. No one has ever matched, let alone break his record. The prolific QB has set the bar so high that only one legend can fathom the thought of matching the record, Aaron Rodgers himself.
