Aaron Rodgers is certainly one of those great players who does not have many great weapons to play with. The Green Bay Packers quarterback, unlike Tom Brady, has not had many opportunities to be around an incredible offense as well as a remarkable defense and special teams, that debate is somewhat never-ending. But one of the reasons why the Packers did not make it past the Divisional Round in 2022 was because of that lacking special team contribution.

The aforementioned notion can be proven by his four MVP awards on one Super Bowl title. However, during his 17 years with the franchise, the four-time NFL MVP has got the likes of skilled teammates from time to time. Just like this past season, it was Davante Adams.

Aaron Rodgers has a soft side for Michael Jordan

Many would harshly disagree with the Green Bay Packers not being on par with the 90s Chicago Bulls. However, Aaron Rodgers certainly had his own vision of his team especially after he watched Michael Jordan’s documentary ‘The Last Dance’ early in 2020. Rodgers makes a teasing comparison with MJ

Rodgers also added that he has known some of the Bulls’ players. He mentioned how he got to know Steve Kerr, Jud Buechler, and also the “Robin” to Michael Jordan’s “Batman”, Scottie Pippen. He met Pippen in a golf tournament in 2019. “I’m not quite sure, though, who the Dennis Rodman of our team is but I really did enjoy that part of the doc as well,” he hilariously stated. Though it was a very cheeky way to flaunt one’s greatness but was it a comparison well made? Given that Jordan has had six NBA champions while Rodgers has just one, it might be a great debate too.
