He has a host of accomplishments to his name, including a Super Bowl, over his 18 seasons with the Packers. Such a long duration at a place involves a lot of interactions with teammates over the years, and Rodgers expressed that sometimes things can get challenging.

In a 2020 interview with ex-girlfriend Danica Patrick, The QB opened up about motivation, football, life, and the most uncomfortable thing he has had to do so far.
Aaron Rodgers says apologizing to teammates has been difficult
Speaking on Patrick’s YouTube channel, Rodgers mentioned one of his daily habits- doing something uncomfortable. It was all part of his regular habits to become a better person.
When asked about something that made him the most uncomfortable, the QB revealed he struggled the most with uncomfortable conversations, more so with his NFL teammates.

He said, “I think people, in general, and men sometimes have a hard time apologizing… so just realizing how your energy and your attitude can affect other people.”
He continued, mentioning why it was difficult to apologize to an NFL teammate. He said, “So you know, you got 63 just alpha ego personalities at work, and that’s just the players. So apologizing to your teammates can be tough sometimes if you think it’s unnecessary, or maybe I didn’t affect that person.”
From his own experience, he gave a very relevant piece of advice to anyone who might find apologizing difficult, “The language of apology is the language of connection and love.”
His last comment would relate to anyone who has ever played a team sport. Team sports depend heavily on teammates’ relationships. The impact of good or bad relationships has the potential to spill over to the field and affect the team.

Are daily habits the foundation of Rodger’s longevity?
Putting himself in uncomfortable situations is not the only habit the Packers QB swears by. Rodgers, who won the golfing game The Match recently, said he tried to follow five daily habits including “being amazing, doing something uncomfortable, doing something for someone who can’t repay you, changing a daily habit and being amazing.”

He said that he followed such mantras or ideas regularly to develop more as a person. The quest to be the best he can be has led to other habits the QB has. In an earlier part of the interview, he mentioned how he used crosswords and reading to keep his brain stimulated and develop himself as an individual.

Perhaps, the discipline and the resilience required to carry on with such activities daily makes Aaron Rodgers one of the best and longest-playing athletes in the NFL.
