It’s not all over for Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers. The Packers No 12 led the cheeseheads to their first victory in six weeks. However, A-Rod has been feeling some discomfort in this thumb and with the Titans approaching, this is not good news.

Aaron Rodgers had a massive performance in one of the regular season games of the year against the Cowboys. Rodgers also hurt a previous wound in the game and the quarterback can use some days to heal his throwing hand thumb. Aaron spoke ahead of the clash with the dominant Titans on Thursday.

Aaron Rodgers has thumb troubles and needs some days off

A-Rod and the Packers offense came out on top of the Dallas Cowboys in a thrilling 31-28 overtime win. The reigning back-to-back MVP won the battle of then and now by beating former coach Mike McCarthy’s formidable Dallas side. Packers’ current HC Matt LaFleur organised a beautiful running game against the Cowboys. However, Aaron Rodgers sustained a hit on his throwing hand thumb. The Packers QB had injured the same thumb in the Week 5 loss to the NY Giants.

The 2011 Super Bowl MVP has been struggling with his thumb in recent weeks. That would explain the career-high 3 interceptions he threw in the loss to the Detroit Lions in Week 9 of the NFL this season. Rodgers and the Packers have a good TNF track record, but they face Derrick Henry this week.

Aaron ‘Dragon-born’ Rodgers wishes for some time off. “Yeah, every day offs gonna help for sure. But I feel like it needs seven days, probably. Not just a couple. I’m not sure how many Matt is gonna give us off, you know,” A-Rod said before the clash with the Tennessee Titans.

A-Rod may have found his first-choice receiver

Rodgers said that he had trouble throwing when his thumb was not a hundred per cent. That’s why it’s extra important for the Green Bay Packers wide receivers to show up against the Titans. Rookie Christian Watson connected with A-Rod’s cannon balls for three touchdowns against the Cowboys. Watson seems to be filling the void left by WR Davante Adams. The rushing offense from the Packers was also above par last Sunday with RB Aaron Jones running for 138 yards and 1 touchdown.

Even with the strong offensive display, the Cowboys’ offense led by Dak Prescott scored 28 points. The Packers’ defense allowed Cowboys RB Tony Pollard to rush for 115 yards and 1 TD while Ceedee Lamb recorded 150 yards receiving night with 2 touchdowns. The Packers’ defense must find a way to stop the rushing offense, especially against King Henry, who already has almost 1000 yards of rushing with half of the season left.
