The Aaron Rodgers – Green Bay Packers trade saga refuses to die down. With the quarterback growing increasingly disenchanted with the franchise and its front office, rumors have been doing rounds of the quarterback possibly wanting out of Green Bay.

While the QB is yet to make an official statement about the same, his recent actions suggest that he might indeed be done with the Packers franchise.

With teams having off-season training sessions, officially called organized team activities (OTAs), players have been making their way back to their training facilities to get ready for the upcoming season.

The Green Bay Packers too began their OTAs from Monday. But there was one notable absentee. Aaron Rodgers.

Aaron Rodgers spotted in Hawaii

According to Rob Demovsky, Rodgers was not present for the start of the OTAs which is Phase Three of the offseason program. Instead, it is believed that the 2020 NFL MVP is in Hawaii vacationing with his fiancée, Hollywood actress Shailene Woodley.

Rodgers who recently got engaged to Woodley was spotted at Oahu last week. And recent reports suggest that Rodgers and Woodley are still in Hawaii spending time with actor Miles Teller and his wife Keleigh.

One must remember that participation in the OTAs is voluntary. But a Rodgers no-show is clearly sending the wrong signals if he wishes to stay put at Green Bay.

Rodgers could have laid to bed all the rumors about his departure if he had turned up for the offseason programme. But his actions speak louder than words.

Rodgers and the Packers’ problems started with the franchise’s decision to draft QB Jordan Love in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. Brought in as an apparent replacement for Rodgers, the QB’s future at Green Bay was suddenly under threat.

The Broncos signing Rodgers wouldn’t come as a surprise. After all, they’ve had success in the past by picking up a QB in his twilight years.

The signing of Peyton Manning helped the franchise secure its third Super Bowl title. Perhaps Rodgers could follow suit and help them land Super Bowl #4.
