After a brutal injury on his oblique lead QB, Aaron Rodgers is still looking forward to playing against the Chicago Bears. In a locker room interview, the star QB answered questions about his place in the team, since his injuries may hinder his performance. A-Rod appeared cool and talked about his departure from the team. Even though the Packers end his QB era, he will have excess about of money to support him. 

When the back-to-back MVP award winner succumbed to a violent hit in his ribs, the third-year backup QB, Jordan Love, replaced him in the game. Love made a decent QB who threw a touchdown pass to Christian Watson. Watching him play could give the Packers some relief.

In the locker room interview, reporters asked questions regarding Love’s possibility of replacing Aaron Rodgers. The QB said that the veteran QBs, like himself, have played in the league for the longest time. And people want younger athletes to get the chance to showcase their talents. Even though the Super Bowl winner understands that “this is a business, ” he is not ready to have the conversation of Number 10 replacing him.

Aaron Rodgers will gain riches even if he won’t play in the next season

Just like every year, the ten-time Pro Bowler keeps his fans hanging about when he will retire. Despite being injured, the NFL MVP will play against the Bears with a type of rib protector. It is hard to predict if the team will end their time with Rodgers or if will he retire from the NFL. The QB does not want to have that conversation now.

It was only in 2017, after he broke his collarbone, that he did not finish a season. When asked if the time will repeat himself, he said, “I mean, that’s an assumption that this place won’t look any different next year. Again, that’s part of the conversation.” Even though the elite QB won’t play next year, he has a guaranteed $59.5 million worth of contract ready for himself.
