

Aaron Rodgers is a man on a mission heading into the 2020 NFL season. The two-time NFL MVP award winner spoke about the arrival of rookie quarterback Jordan Love in a recent interview.

There are rumors doing the rounds that Rodgers could face some competition from Love for a spot as Green Bay Packers’ starting quarterback.
But the California-born athlete will be keen to prove his doubters wrong over the course of the upcoming season.

James Jones played alongside Rodgers at Lambeau Field for a number of years (2007-2013). The reputed wide receiver tipped his former teammate to bag multiple honors this year due to the added pressure of Love’s acquisition and other external factors.

In a recent interview with the NFL Network, here is what Jones had to say about 36-year-old Aaron Rodgers.

“Aaron Rodgers, MVP, Aaron Rodgers will be number one. Boulder on his shoulder, here we go, I’m telling you right now. Number one next year Aaron Rodgers,” said Jones. Rodgers had a decent outing with the Packers in 2019.
He led them to the NFC Championship game where they lost to San Francisco 49ers. At the end of the regular season, Rodgers posted 4,002 passing yards, 26 passing touchdowns with just four interceptions.

Myles Garrett will have 20 sacks next year, says former NFL scout

Former Cleveland Browns, Philadelphia Eagles and Baltimore Ravens scout, Daniel Jeremiah, backed Myles Garrett to succeed with his team this year.
“Myles Garrett is going to have 20 sacks and Myles Garrett of the Cleveland Browns is going to be number one on this list.

“Last I checked, he was not in the top 10 Andrew but you can mark this tape unless it’s really bad then throw it away. But mark it in case it does happen because I’m swinging for the fences,” Jeremiah said on the show.
