The QB will become the second player in NFL history to win three consecutive NFL MVP awards. Considering he wins it in the 2022 season. Aaron Rodgers is an invaluable asset to the Green Bay Packers. Conversely, the QB’s payout could become a significant talking point. This season, it could hamper the journey for the Packers to win the Lombardi trophy.
Earlier in March 2022, reports surfaced that the 4x NFL MVP award winner is asking for a considerable salary increase. The jump in salary would entitle him to a $50 million payout per year. The QB’s demands were based on his staying with the Packers after the 2022 season.

Reportedly, he wanted to be the highest-paid player in the NFL and that too by a wide margin. If this contract extension happens, Rodgers’ payout will hamper the salary of other players in the Pack. It could propel the Packers to suffer immensely this season.

However, Aaron Rodgers categorically dismissed the reports. He revealed that he isn’t seeking a $50 million payout through his contract extension with the Packers. His current contract is liable to pay him $27 million in salary in 2022.
What does the future look like for Aaron Rodgers?
There is no clarity on his future. Like, many other quarterbacks around his age, he is going on an year to year basis. Every year could be his last. And fans should enjoy the prowess of this American sporting legend while we can.

The Packers QB will be at the center of their offense once again. And this time around, we won’t see the unreal connection succeed against all odds, between legendary Aaron Rodgers and insanely talented Davante Adams. The WR was special whenever he took the field in yellow and green. Remains to be seen where the Packers position themselves offensively without their superstar WR.

As the season is around the corner, the Packers are hoping for Rodgers to deliver a performance of a lifetime. He is just a season MVP award from equaling the record of winning three consecutive MVP awards with Brett Favre.
