In the 2022 season, during Week 12, Donald sacked Mahomes once and received a $15,914 fine from the NFL for a facemask penalty on another play. These incidents demonstrate that Donald posed a challenge to Mahomes, impacting his performance and decision-making. Similarly, in Week 9 of the 2023 season, Ramsey intercepted Mahomes once and disrupted two passes, contributing to the Dolphins’ 24-21 victory over the Chiefs.

Ramsey, too, hinders Mahomes by affecting his accuracy and confidence on the field. Furthermore, in Week 14 of the same season, Miller pressured Mahomes on the final play, leading to an interception that sealed the Bills’ 24-20 win over the Chiefs.
