After Killing Mountain Lion Peyton Manning’s Super Bowl Champion Teammate Impresses Broncos Twitter

A former teammate of Peyton Manning recently took down a massive mountain lion in Colorado. The former defensive lineman of the Denver Broncos, Derek Wolfe, was given the task of hunting and taking down a naughty male mountain lion who was creating problems for the people of a neighboring village. When TMZ reported the news, many fans reacted to it. The big kill received a lot of attention from many people, and some were impressed with what the 32-year-old did. 

Wolfe made a post on his official Instagram account. He revealed that in order to curb the mischief and danger spread by the big cat he was contacted to take care of the situation.

In the post, he detailed his effort to take down the lion in Grant. The animal was terrorizing the neighborhood village and had killed two dogs of a woman. He wrote that he was scared as to what the lion what do next. Hence, the hunter and fisherman took the matters into his own hands.

He noticed a corpse of a mule and assumed that the lion killed it. When he hiked further and completed a hard journey. Then he encountered the animal. “Exhausted, dehydrated, cramping,” Wolfe said, “I drew back my [bow] and sent an [arrow] through him. Then I had to crawl backwards down the mountain with him to get him to the truck I fell 10ft off a rock face on the way down lol.”

The University of Cincinnati lineman champ was drafted in 2012 and retired after almost a decade. Wolf played for nine seasons in the NFL; out of which he spent most of his career with the Broncos. The Super Bowl 50 winner in Denver Broncos amassed a career total of 77 quarterback hits, 299 tackles, 46 tackles for loss, and 33 sacks. Because of his illustrious career, he built a net worth of $4 million. Additionally, Derek Wolfe signed a $12 million deal with the Baltimore Ravens at the end of his career.
