Aaron Rodgers won’t remain a Packer for life. However, the memories will last a lifetime. Rodgers has made some very close friends over his 18 years in the Green Bay Packers organization. One of them has been offensive tackle David Bakhtiari. The 2013 draft pick’s relationship with his quarterback blossomed over the years, with the duo becoming best friends. However, it could have all gone terribly wrong for the young Bakhtiari because of a precarious shower encounter with A-Rod.

David Bakhtiari’s shower experience with Aaron Rodgers

It’s no secret that Aaron Rodgers is a man of mystery. And understandably, Rodgers isn’t a common-shower kind of quarterback. Bakhtiari described him as the guy who will always go pick a corner. However, Bakhtiari wasn’t aware of Rodgers’ behavioral tendencies. On being nudged to take his shower beside No 12, David faced an obvious obstruction.

Spoiler alert. It was Aaron Rodgers. “I go pull on that thing [shower knob]. I turn on the thing. He immediately turns it off. And then he looked at me. I was like, do you want to share the same showerhead? He was like, get away from me. He knew me maybe for like a week. There wasn’t that chemistry,” Bakhtiari said.

Since then, however, the duo’s relationship has seen better days. Although it’s still a strict no from Rodgers when it came to the showering, Bakhtiari quickly realized where his QB’s soft corner was. Golf. Bakhtiari famously gifted his passer an Aston Martin golf cart. And Aaron definitely didn’t have the heart to say no to that.

Bakhtiari stood up for his QB when Jimmy Kimmel roasted A-Rod

When Aaron Rodgers’ ‘UFO and Jeffrey Epstein’ comments were ridiculed on the Jimmy Kimmel Live Show, pass protection specialist, David Bakhtiari didn’t sit by idly. “Might be time to revisit that concussion protocol,” Kimmel said in his monologue about A-Rod’s claims that an Epstein client list was about to be released.

Tell me you’re on the Jeffrey Epstein client list, without telling me you’re on the Jeffrey Epstein client list,” Bakhtiari clapped back at Kimmel. Nothing unusual for David, who is as ferocious on-field as off. Sadly, the duo’s time together is coming to an end as the Packers usher into the Jordan Love Era and Rodgers makes a potential move to the AFC for the New York Jets.
