Are the Kansas City Chiefs targeting Odell Beckham Jr.?
During the Pat McAfee show, the former NFL player said, “They opened up $3.455 million in cap space in the middle of the season. It is October 18th, there was a deadline allegedly of November for Odell Beckham Jr. to be back healthy. Odell Beckham Jr. has done an NFL tour, recruiting trips almost. And he has gone to every single team that appears to have a shot in the long haul.“

McAfee believes Kansas is looking for the long haul, so Beckham Jr. could prove to be the perfect weapon for the team. “Odell Beckham Jr. being added to that crew over there would be the perfect Andy Reid move, it’d be perfect for Patrick Mahomes and I can’t believe we are saying that this is definitely going to happen, but that is why they opened up this cap space,” McAfee further said.

It is worth noting that, OBJ has been touring all over the NFL, looking for a perfect team while recovering from the torn ACL injury, that he suffered in the Super Bowl 56 game. His former Rams teammate, Von Miller, recently said that he feels confident that he could lure Beckham Jr. to the Bills, which is a tough call. Many experts felt he would be a perfect fit for the Giants. However, it seems like the WR will most likely be heading toward the Chiefs after their recent move.

However, adding Beckham Jr. would be a great move for Patrick Mahomes and Co. Currently, they are at the top of the AFC West division and looking like a championship-caliber team. So, adding OBJ will be a power move for the Chiefs, as they are looking to go all the way this year after last year’s disappointment.
