Patrick Mahomes bring Christmas early to Kansas City

Patrick Mahomes led the charge as the Chiefs breezed past the Seahawks in a week 16 Christmas eve clash. Kansas was dominant from the start and raced to a 17-3 lead at halftime. After that, the Seahawks just couldn’t find the way back home. The Chiefs won with a comfortable 24-10 scoreline.

Mahomes was the destroyer-in-chief for the home side with another fine performance. He threw 16 completions in the game for 224 passing yards. The Chiefs QB scored two touchdowns through the air while one came for him on the ground. The Seahawks’ defense couldn’t pick up a single of his 28 pass attempts.

The Chiefs have already clinched the AFC West division and are looking to lock in the conference too. With a 12-3 overall record, that doesn’t seem far away too. Will the Chiefs make it to their third Super Bowl in four years?
