It was not the homecoming that Tom Brady had in mind. His second appearance in California ended in a loss. With that, the Buccaneers’ regular-season win-loss tally slipped to 6-7, but they still stand atop the NFC South division. The Week 14 loss upset TB12, as his boyhood franchise pulverized the Buccaneers at Levi’s Stadium. Brady expressed his annoyance in the post-game interview.

Tom Brady mentioned, “Uh, not great. Yeah, it’s tough. It’s, uh, but we put ourselves in that position. So, you know, I’m not blaming people. You’re just trying to figure out how to do a better job, which you need to do a better job of.”

Tom Brady could face his childhood team, the San Francisco 49ers. He had a love-hate relationship with them and came to seek revenge after they skipped on him twice. But Brock Purdy ruined the comeback. The rookie quarterback started for the 49ers and destroyed Tampa Bay’s defensive system, scoring two touchdowns.

The Buccaneers are not having a glorious season. Despite that, they are standing steadfast in their division. Because he is in his final year with the franchise, there are wild possibilities. But there are chances he could head home and join the NFC West behemoths.

Noted Insider believes Tom Brady could join the 49ers in free agency

Tom Brady’s devotion to San Francisco is well-known among NFL fans. He grew up in San Mateo and supported the NFC West team. The QB1 has several options for his free agency. However, Rick Stroud expressed optimism that Tom Brady would join the 49ers in 2023. However, this could only happen if the quarterback kept playing football.

The 49ers are a workable option if Tom Brady continues to play football. The roster is bursting with power, and the defensive line ranks among the finest in the league. Aside from that, there are playmakers throughout the offense. They do not have a dependable QB to hold the fort. The team would require a staunch quarterback, and TB12 appears to be the ideal candidate.

Will Brady join the 49ers? It is subject to witness.
