The NFL power couple Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen have iconic fantasies. One of them happens to be their love for building homes and buying properties. Over the years, they have purchased several such estates across the country and sold them, doubling the profits. However, their dream home built in Los Angeles had a special place in their hearts as they were “close to nature”.

It was a whopping $20 million mansion sitting on a four-acre estate at Brentwood. The couple bought this land to build their dream home with customized amenities and features.

Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen bought the huge land for $11 million back in 2008. It took three years for them to construct the modern-day castle. It became an off-season safe house for the couple to enjoy life with their kids. Despite spending a humongous amount of money, the Brazilian beauty wanted to keep it authentic and close to nature.

This property was located in the Swanky area of Brentwood, residing at the base of the scenic Santa Monica Mountains. A bunch of A-list celebrities happened to be their neighbors like Arnold Schwarzenegger, Reese Witherspoon, Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner, Ewan McGregor, and many more.

Moreover, the custom house they built was a 22,000 square feet mansion with all the luxurious things a human could think of. “The house features reclaimed ceiling beams, salvaged tile, and antique doors.”

“The 18,298 square feet of living space includes a center hall, a den, a library/study, a gym, a sauna, five bedrooms, nine bathrooms, loggias, covered terraces, balconies, and garage space. There are seven fireplaces,” per the Los Angeles Times. However, Brazilian beauty made sure that things remain authentic and close to nature.

Being a UN Goodwill Ambassador and vocalizing about climate change, it became essential for the Supermodel to set an example. She planted her own veggies and installed solar panels to utilize natural energy as much as possible.

“We are excited to be using solar power as the main source of electricity in our home,” Bündchen told an outlet. “And we are planting our own herbs, fruits, and vegetables, which will be my favorite part of the house,” she added. It is to be noted that this practice helps the duo save large amounts of money, unlike other celebrities who waste thousands of dollars filling their grand kitchens.

Anyway, the couple later sold this mansion for $40 million to the rap icon, Dr Dre. The trade reaped them a $20 million profit. Well, these real estate purchases are some of the lavish expenses of the quarterback and interestingly help him multiply his wealth occasionally.
